Kyle Derek Ervin is a husband and father of four. He studied English with an emphasis in creative writing at San Diego State University and received his bachelor’s degree in English from California State University, Hayward. While in college, on a whim, he joined the United States Marine Corps. There, he served as a reservist in the 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. Kyle was raised in San Jose, California, but now lives in Fullerton, California, where he teaches English at Buena Park High School. This is his first book.
