    XOrbit Rules

    §1: Accounts
1.1 The owner of an account is always the owner of the fixed e-mail address. An account may only be played alone.
1.2 The only exception is sitting. If it becomes necessary to monitor someone else's account or put it into vacation mode, the support team must be informed in advance and permission obtained. For short-term sittings of less than 12 hours, a message to the support team is sufficient. When sitting, all fleet movement is forbidden, only sitting the fleet on coordinates of the sited planet and building the resources on the planet they are located on is allowed. An account may be sitting for a maximum of 48 hours. After returning the sitting account, 7 days must pass before it may be sitting again.
1.3 Account swapping within a universe may only be done with the support of the GO or SGO.
1.4 The accounts of players who do not comply with the game rules and intentionally cause damage to the game will be banned.
1.5 Questions regarding accounts and/or support tickets will only be discussed with the account owner via a corresponding support ticket for reasons of data protection.

    §2: Multi Accounts:
2.2 If there is a short-term or long-term joint use of an Internet access, this must be notified in advance.
2.3 Otherwise only 1 account per universe is allowed. (no matter if in vacation mode or not)
2.4 If a Multi is allowed, all contact between Multis is prohibited, such as Coordinated Attacks, TF Leave, Transports.
2.5 Again, an exception may be granted by the support team.

    §3: Pushing
    3.1 Pushing is generally prohibited.
3.2 Pushing is considered to be all resource deliveries without adequate consideration from lower scoring accounts to higher scoring accounts. The same applies to providing debris fields and resources.
3.3 Exceptions must be approved in advance by the support team. Failure to obtain permission may result in a suspension for pushing.
3.3.1 Exceptions include services such as moon shot, bounty, and the like.
3.4 A trade must be completed or logged via a support ticket within 48 hours.
3.5 It also counts as pushing if an account with more points sends so many resources to an account with fewer points that the latter can overtake it in points with these resources. At the time of delivery.

§4 Attacks on players and bash rule
4.1 A player may attack any planet or moon only five times in a 24-hour period, including unit attacks. A player can be attacked a maximum of 25 times in a 24-hour period.
4.1.1 An attack is any action that results in a combat report involving combat ships (e.g. destroy, spy with combat fleet).
4.1.2 Attacks with spy probes or interplanetary missiles are not counted.
4.2 This rule applies only to active players. There is no limit to the attack of inactive players.
4.3 Successive attacks on a player in order to force the player to leave the game or to put his account into vacation mode are prohibited. In these cases, the support team will conduct the necessary investigation and the players organizing the attack may be penalized.
4.3.1 The rule set out in paragraphs 4.3 applies only to "planets". Continuous and organized attacks can be carried out to destroy the lunar defenses and destroy the moon.
4.4 Attacks on planets from accounts with fewer points should be profitable. The loot and debris field resources you get from an attack must be higher than your own fuel costs and fleet loss. In case of a violation of this rule, the player performing the attack is forbidden to send attack missions for a while. Repeated violations of this rule may result in suspension.
4.5 An alliance may attack a player a maximum of 50 times in a 24 hour period.

    4.6 Case of war
4.6.1 In wars in which more than one player participated, the looted resources and the collected debris fields must be divided according to the rules below.
    > The loss of the players participating in the fight is covered.
    > The remaining resources are divided equally among the participating players.
4.6.2 If the parties are at war, further attacks are permitted. The war must be declared at least 12 hours before further attacks in the forum (In the alliances and diplomacy forum/ later English name as well as forum is restructured accordingly) (in the title of the announcement both alliances or the name of the war-declaring single player must be mentioned in correct spelling).
4.6.3 Acceptance of the war is not required.
4.6.4 Wars which obviously serve only to circumvent the bash rules on a massive scale are prohibited.
4.6.5 Deleting and recreating an alliance within 48 hours does not end the war. (See also §14.3)
4.6.5.1 All subsequently created alliances with identical, nearly identical names or nearly identical alliance members count as the same "new" alliance.
4.7 As soon as reasons for ending the war arise, this must be announced immediately in the relevant thread.
4.8 Changes to the alliance name or tag must also be announced in the appropriate thread.
4.9 Players who join a party after a war has been declared must wait 12 hours and announce their participation in the forum before they are allowed to actively participate in the war.
4.10 All members of the war may not attack the opposing party for 24 hours after the end of the war. The attack counter is reset to 0 after these 24 hours, so the normal bash rule takes effect again.

§5: Attacking former and own alliance members
5.1 Own alliance members and former ones (up to 48h) may not be attacked.
5.1.1 For former members it doesn't matter if the member left the alliance, was kicked or the alliance was deleted. Likewise referring to himself.
5.2 Enemy Fleet Contact in this context means the Attack, Formation Attack, Destroy, and Missile Attack missions. (Spying, unless a Battle Fleet is involved, does not count).
5.3 Each service, e.g. "Shoot the moon, scrap the expo fleet, ..." must be registered in advance via support ticket.
5.4 Violation of this rule will result in a minimum 48 hour suspension.

    §6: Bugusing
6.1 The exploitation of program errors (bugs) is prohibited and may, depending on the severity, lead to a ban.
6.2 Bugs must be reported in detail in the forum. Sharing information about bugs with other players is prohibited and may result in a ban.

§7: Language in the Game Domain
7.1 The official support languages are German and English. Violations can be punished by blocking the account.
7.2 Communication is allowed in all languages as long as it does not violate etiquette and youth protection regulations.
7.3 Content that is of an anti-constitutional or extremist nature or originates from banned groups will lead to immediate exclusion from the game.

    §8: Scripting
8.1 The use of a program as an interface between the player and the game is prohibited. Any other form of automatically generated information for the benefit of a group of players is also prohibited. Exceptions will be announced in the forum.

    §9: Insult and respect
9.1 Any form of insults and spam are prohibited
9.2 Threats against life and limb are punished with exclusion from the game.

    §10: Third-party advertising
10.1 It is not allowed to send other players, links or other advertisements of another game.
10.2 Neither via private messages, alliance group mail nor via buddy requests

    §11: Support Team
11.1 The instructions of the support team must be followed.
11.2 It is allowed to attack the support team in the game.
11.3 Deceiving or lying to the support team will result in immediate expulsion from the universe.

§12: Violations of the above rules
12.1 Violations of the above rules will be punished with various restrictions in the game or suspension of at least 1 day up to a complete exclusion from the game, depending on the severity. Questions or exculpatory evidence should be asked in the appropriate tickets.
12.2 There will be no refunds of officer points spent and/or real money for violations of these rules.

    §13: Fun with the game!

    §14: Misleading names and deceptions
14.1 Any kind of misleading names and deceptions are prohibited.
14.2 Alliance names that are almost identical to alliance names that already exist are not allowed.
14.3 If players leave an alliance during the war and within 6 hours create or join an alliance that is nearly identical or only marginally different, this is also considered cheating. The war in this case remains.

    §15 Activity times
15.1 Accounts with a total daily activity time of more than 18 hours are audited. If the support team believes that these accounts are being used by more than one person, the account may be closed. But, of course, it is not forbidden to play more than 18 hours a day.

We, as operators, feel obliged to prevent damage to health caused by excessive gaming.

    Notes:
    - Players who do not follow the stated rules and commit other infractions will be penalized without prior notice.
    - The duration of the penalty depends on the nature of the offence.
    - All of these rules are precautions to provide a better gaming experience for players, and as the XOrbit team we would like to point out that we will not allow anyone to harm the game
    - If you try to gain an advantage by blocking, you will be blocked without UMod instead.
